I am Sports Massage Therapist with a hands-on approach to helping people move and feel their best.
I have over 15 years experience in the running industry, managing running shops for most of those 15 years. I am also a very keen runner running events ranging from local Parkruns to the historic Comrades Marathon in South Africa. I understands how the body performs when it is put under stress and has had plenty of first-hand experience of how we can benefit from Sports Massage because of my own high level training.
My treatments are for everyone, whether you’re an athlete, office worker or simply looking to ease tension and move more comfortably. I bring a solid foundation of anatomy, recovery and performance with a genuine love of working with people. As well as my private clients I also am clinic based on Tuesday and Thursdays at Backs & Beyond in North London ( prices vary at the clinic as they’re set by the clinic director)
My goal is simply to help everyone move freely, feel better in their bodies and get back to doing what they love.
Home visits are available depending on your location, an extra fee may be incurred.
My site is still under construction and there will be tweaks, changes and additions, in the meantime please contact me to arrange appointments or with any questions.
Our Services
This is perfect for those returning for help with a certain issue, general maintenance or even just a bit of pampering.
Before we start the massage I start by asking a few health and lifestyle questions followed by doing an anatomical assessment, we can then create a plan.
The ideal session for those that have been pushing themselves hard in training or just want a full body maintenance session.
About me.
I have always been active but it wasn’t till I started running when I was 38 that I realised that to push my body I needed to look after it much more than I had been doing, and that involved a fair few sports massages. I had been working in running retail for a few years before then and its over the years that I gained a greater knowledge of not only running footwear but also the body itself. Roll on a fair few years, I entered my 50’s having completed 13 marathons, and a handful of Ultra Marathons, one being the historical Comrades Marathon in South Africa, I was 48 when I did my first so age isn’t a barrier. I then took the decision to go back to school and study Sports Massage, I couldn’t be happier with my choice.
My goal is simply to allow everyone to be able to move freely without pain.
Please note that massage alone cannot cure Biomechanical disfunction this must be in conjunction with a strength programme from a qualified Physiotherapist
